Support My Art & Music Exhibition in NYC — And My Journey as a Digital Artist
Hi, I’m Nanae Itoi, a Japanese mixed-media and digital artist based in New York City. I create immersive, interactive art using projection mapping, AR, and motion graphics — often blending it with traditional Japanese aesthetics like sumi-e and washi paper collage.
This September, I’m producing a multisensory music and digital art show in NYC featuring live performances by two amazing bands:
First President of Japan
Konezumi
Together, we’re transforming a venue into a space of sound, visuals, and cultural fusion.
Why I Need Your Support
This project is self-funded, and I’m doing everything I can to make it happen. Here's the breakdown:
Venue Cost: $3,850
Max Ticket Revenue: $1,300
GoFundMe Goal: $2,550 to bridge the gap
At the same time, I’m preparing to apply for my artist visa in January 2026, which requires:
$7,500 in legal fees
$3,000 for expedited processing
This isn’t just a show — it’s a step toward building a life and career as a digital artist in NYC. If you believe in independent art, cross-cultural collaboration, or just want to support an emerging artist working hard to stay and grow here, I would be deeply grateful for your help.
Whether you can donate or share my story, thank you so much for being part of this journey.
With love,
Nanae
