My name is Nanabaa Blackhorse-Anderson. I am a 19 year-old Navajo and Mvskoke Creek Nation student wrapping up my first year at Arizona State University. My life has been full of hardships after Covid-19, including the grief of the grandfathers I have looked up to since then. Once I realized I can overcome these hardships, I feel it's only natural I embark on a new and challenging journey to study abroad in Japan during Fall of 2026.

The estimated cost of the program is:

Program Fee: $6,450

International Travel Service Fee & Carbon Offset Fee: $149

ASU Tuition: $3,479

Total Billed to MyASU: $10,078

Estimated Out-of-Pocket Expenses: $3,675

Estimated Overall Total Cost: $13,753

This opportunity represents more than just travel.
