I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sweet girl, Nala. Anyone who knows me knows that Nala is my world! She is so much more than just a pet, she is my comfort and a huge part of my heart. She’s helped me through so many ups and downs, and seeing her this weak is truly heartbreaking.

The Situation:

This past Friday, Nala got into some rosebushes and plants, and she has been really sick ever since. By Sunday, she was vomiting all day, so I rushed her to the emergency vet. After bloodwork and IV fluids, the results showed she was anemic and severely dehydrated.

Where we are now:

Emergency care is incredibly expensive, and I had to make some really difficult choices that night about what we could afford to do. I prioritized the most vital things…an ultrasound, bloodwork, and anti-nausea meds but we weren’t able to do everything the doctors recommended.

Nala still has no appetite and just isn't her usual self. Her primary vet believes we urgently need to move forward with the X-rays and further testing that the emergency room initially wanted, and they’re still unsure if she’ll need to be hospitalized for direct supervision to get her stabilized.

How you can help:

I want to give Nala every possible chance to get better and back to her normal self, but the costs for this next round of testing are more than I can manage alone.
