My name is Jessie, and we're saying goodbye to our baby girl, Nala.

We've had her and loved her for 16 long years. We've fought through two blown knees, endless tests for cushing's disease, diabetes insipidus, and the pain of her senior years together. Going through all this has been so hard, but loving her has always been so easy. None of it was ever a question, and we'd do it all again for her. Her and her late brother Simba have been our entire world since we were only 19.

She's reached old age and her quality of life has declined. She developed kidney and liver concerns and a stage four heart murmur so fast. She struggles to walk, barely sleeps at night, can barely see or hear, and seems so lost and uncomfortable. It's slowly killing all of us, so we know it's time to let her go. We wish we could hold onto her forever.

Our goal number includes her final senior care (the X-rays and testing she needed on her kidneys and liver, and her full senior bloodwork panel) and euthanasia.

Please help us give Nala the same peaceful at-home passing we gave her brother three years ago. Saying goodbye to her at home where she feels comfortable, safe, and protected is the most important thing to us. Nala is the last of our babies, and we're struggling so much. Please help us make this awful experience a little easier.
