Help Nakeira & Jaikeira Get to DC for NYLF

Hi everyone, I'm helping raise money to support Nakeira & Jaikeira Washington participate in a program that they hope will increase their ability to pick the college of their dreams. Read below for more info!
Hi we are the Washington twins, Nakeira and Jaikeira. We know we look alike but we actually have lots of different interests! Especially when it comes to our future career paths. We both are hoping to be a part of the National Youth Leadership Forum in Washington DC. This is an eight day program that will allow us to focus on our specific interests in medicine and law. I, Nakeira, want to be a traveling nurse because I have a passion for helping people, just like my Mom and Grandma. In this program I will be will be exposed to opportunities that I otherwise wouldn't be exposed to. I, Jaikeira, have a passion for the law. I hope to be a part of the investigative process of proving people's innocence plus being the voice to stand up for people who have been wrongly accused. Eventually I would like to lead the Innocence Project. This is why we are hoping that you will support us to enroll in what we believe to be a life-changing program. We know that in order to get into competitive colleges & universities, students need to have an established résumé. Sometimes that takes being a part of programs that we don't always have access to. But we believe that this could be a stepping stone to our journey to the college or university of our dreams. As two young Black girls we know we are often left out of spaces like this which directly impacts our future. This is why we are asking for your support to help us enroll in a program that could have a huge impact on our future.
