Peace, Love, and a Whole Lotta Soul
My name is Najah Irene Westbrook—a multidisciplinary artist, movement practitioner, and founder of the Westbrook Legacy Foundation. I create at the intersection of ritual, resistance, and remembrance. My work is a living archive of Black womanhood, ancestral memory, and embodied healing.
In March 2026, I’ve been invited to Château Orquevaux in France for a prestigious artist residency. There, I’ll expand my project Yujir—a multisensory exploration of movement, memory, and legacy. This residency is a sacred opportunity to deepen my practice, honor my lineage, and create work that speaks across generations.
I’m raising $5,000 to cover travel, materials, and documentation. Every contribution helps me carry this vision forward—with peace, love, and a whole lotta soul.
Why This Matters
• I blend yoga, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Taoist flow, and climbing with visual storytelling—crafting immersive experiences rooted in healing and ancestral reverence.
• My art spans painting, photography, sculpture, and fashion—each piece a portal to truth, dignity, and transformation.
• I lead community workshops and public rituals that center Blackness, womanhood, and collective healing.
• Post-residency, I’ll host exhibitions and digital campaigns to share this journey with the world.

With gratitude, grace, and vision,
