Support Nafisa's Legal Battle for Justice

Our beloved sister Nafisa urgently needs your support. A single mother of four, she has been relentlessly targeted by her ex-husband who is actively trying to taint her clean record and strip her of custody.

This isn’t the first time he has weaponized the police against her. He has made repeated false allegations and called authorities on her July 1st, 2025 at one of the most public incidents occurring during the Qur’an Competition at Karmel Mall. She was wrongfully arrested in front of a crowd, including children and families.

He has used his connections with professionals in influential positions to sway decisions in his favor and prolonged the legal process of their divorce to drain her financially. Nafisa has spent over hundreds of thousands in legal fees and suffered the unimaginable…losing one of her children in the hands of her ex-husband.

She’s been forced to miss work due to the emotional and legal toll, all while continuing to do everything in her power to provide a safe and stable life for her children. Despite it all, Nafisa started over from scratch rebuilding her life and home on an elementary school teacher’s salary just to keep her children fed, clothed and safe.

Nafisa is not by any means wealthy. She is a hardworking mother simply trying to protect her family. She now needs help affording a strong legal team to defend herself, protect her children and stop further harm.

Nafisa also needs a lawyer to take legal action against Dr. Nadar Ali, whose unethical behavior has caused serious harm to her. Nadar Ali, MD (Nafisa’s ex-sister in law) used her professional position to falsely document damaging information in her medical records. Her ex-husband has since attempted to use that misinformation to influence legal proceedings, portraying Nafisa as unfit and mentally unstable…all in an effort to discredit her and strip her of custody. These false accusations have deeply affected Nafisa emotionally, financially, and legally. She is a devoted and capable mother and this ongoing attack on her character and mental health is nothing short of abuse. With your support, Nafisa can finally get a strong legal team to seek justice and protect her children’s future.
