Support Nadine's Urgent Surgeries and Care

I am Grandma Cindy. I have done a lot of soul searching before deciding to do this GoFundMe. Unfortunately, Nadine will be having three surgeries next week. She will be having a fistula (abscessed) that has caused five trips to the ER repaired, her gall bladder removed, and kidney stones taken care of. We're hoping to do the first two at the same time, but we'll see how she tolerates everything first. Nadine had her double lung transplant on August 12th, 2023. She has had multiple doctor appointments and a two-week hospital stay last October for a bowel obstruction. She also needs another huge sinus surgery, which they may decide to do when we are there. She has some pretty resistant bacteria in her sinuses that they are carefully monitoring so they don’t infect her lungs. Three types of antibiotics go in her nasal washes that she does twice a day.

We are unsure how long we will be in Seattle as she doctors at the University of Washington. Wonderful medical team there, and she does have her other amazing CF team in Anchorage.
