Hello Everyone,

My oldest daughter Nadine fell on hard times. 2026 has not been kind so far and she lost her restaurant location in summer 2025. I am hoping to turn that around. Many of you know her as BirriaBabeNash or Chef Nadine Moore. The recent ice storm has taken away her home shutting her business down completely. She is unable to shop, cook, set up, or sell her delicious food, she has no current income. She lost her home due to flooding and had to move immediately with most of her things lost in the flood. Her home had no power for 6 days, and the streets were covered in fallen trees and debris from the Nashville storm. She and her family (husband Eddy and her cat family) had no choice but to move into my spare bedroom, for the time being, due to loss of her home.

She evacuated her home on Sunday, told the landlord. When she returned home, she realized the water was not shut off. When entering the house, a giant waterfall was gushing from the ceiling. Ice slush and debris everywhere! The water heater (located in the attic!) had frozen up and busted. The ceilings in the bedrooms, bathroom, and closets had collapsed. The basement where the HVAC unit is located had a its own personal lake inside.

Everything was frozen, clothes, mattresses and some furniture was destroyed. Unfortunately, my little chef does not have insurance.

I don't have much myself and I can't give much. I am asking all of you reading this, for support/help; every little bit will go a long way.

It will take weeks to find a place to live in Nashville, as we all know, living has become super expensive. She can't start cooking again in her ghost kitchen until she has a place to live. The commute from my house in Clarksville is just not feasible, especially since her vehicle has seen better days. It is too cold to operate her food truck at this time.

Please find it in your heart to give.

Thank you for reading and supporting me in this recovery journey.
