Her Family Introduction: Hello, my name is Nadia. I am a mother of 3 kids, 2 dogs and a wife. I am reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support during a challenging time in my life.

My Journey: On February 29th of this year, I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Since then, my life has been a whirlwind of hospital stays, chemotherapy treatments, and blood and platelet transfusions. I spent 30 days in the hospital, including 21 days on chemo IV and chemo pills. During this time, I also battled pneumonia, which left me barely able to breathe and in the ICU for several days. I am still in and out of the hospital getting chemo treatments, blood and platlet transfusions. I also have a rare type of cancer that only .02% people get so I will need a stem cell donor.

The Struggle: I lost 35 pounds due to illness and the intense treatment, and the mental and physical toll has been immense. Despite this, I continue to fight every day, determined to get well and return to work to support my family. However, my treatment plan will not be completed until September or later, and the journey has been long and arduous.

Why I Need Your Help: I have always been an independent person, and asking for help is not easy for me. However, the financial burden of my medical treatments has depleted all my resources. I have a family to support, and without any income since I have depleted all of my leave time from work, we struggle to make ends meet.
