Nader Abo Kmal is my friend, and he’s always been someone who worked hard to take care of himself. But everything changed when he was diagnosed with lung cancer. The illness forced him to leave his job, and now he has no income at all. He’s fallen behind on bills and is struggling to afford even the most basic necessities, like food and rent.

This fundraiser is about helping Nader survive and maintain his dignity during an incredibly difficult time. The money raised will go directly toward food and paying his bills, so he can focus on his health without the constant fear of how he’ll make it through each day.
