Asalamu Alaikum everyone,

I am reaching out to share this fundraiser on behalf of one of my closest friends, Nada Mohamed. On Monday, December 15th, Nada was involved in a life-altering car accident that resulted in her being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. She sustained severe injuries to her brain, leading to a traumatic brain injury that will permanently change the course of her life.

At this time, Nada is still fighting for her life in the ICU and will soon be transferred to an acute care facility where she will receive more specialized, long-term medical treatment. This has been an overwhelming and heartbreaking experience for her family, who are navigating both the emotional toll and the significant financial burden that accompanies such extensive medical care.

Prior to this accident, Nada worked in the healthcare field. She spent her days caring for others in their most vulnerable moments—and now, she finds herself in need of that same level of care and support.

Allah ﷻ reminds us in the Qur’an that charity does not decrease our wealth nor diminish what we have:

وَمَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهُ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

“And whatever you spend in His cause, He will replace it; and He is the Best of Providers.” (Surah Saba 34:39)

On behalf of her family, I humbly ask that you consider donating whatever you are able to help offset medical expenses and ongoing care needs. Any contribution, no matter the amount, and any share of this fundraiser is deeply appreciated.

I also ask that with Ramadan around the corner, you keep Nada and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. May Allah SWT place shifāʾ in her body, ease the hearts of her loved ones, and reward every act of charity with barakah and multiplied reward. Ameen.
