Support Nada and Her Children in Gaza

The following is a message from Nada Abdel Nabi:

“My name is Nada Abed Alnabi. I am from Gaza, a mother of three orphaned children. Mohammad (6 years old), Anas (4 years old), and Mariam (2 years old). I lost my husband, Ayman, during the war on Gaza on December 28, 2024.

After waiting for more than a year, hoping to see him again, everything changed. Life suddenly became dark. My children became orphans at an age too young to bear such a loss. My youngest daughter, Mariam, was born during the war. Her father never saw her, never held her, never heard her voice. He had been waiting eagerly to meet her, but he was trapped in the besieged north. Mariam will grow up hearing about her father only through stories, without ever knowing his voice or feeling his embrace.

Before the war, our life was simple but dignified, warm, and full of love, in our home in northern Gaza. Today, we have lost Ayman, we have lost our home, and we have lost our sense of safety. My children and I now live in a tent that. offers no protection from cold, rain, or even the intense summer heat. When it rains, the tent floods, and I fear for my children’s health and safety.

We are living under extremely harsh humanitarian conditions — struggling with shelter, health, food shortages, and the severe rise in prices inside Gaza. Daily life has become a real battle for survival. Renting an apartment in Gaza today is extremely expensive, and as a widowed mother with no stable source of income, it is impossible for me to afford it on my own.

I am launching this campaign to ask for help in order to:
  • Provide a temporary and safe shelter by renting an apartment that can protect my children
  • Cope with the high cost of living and harsh conditions in Gaza
  • Secure a dignified life for young children who lost both their father and their home

Every donation, no matter how small, could mean a roof to protect us from the rain, warmth for children shivering in a tent, and a small ray of hope for orphans whose childhood has been crushed under the rubble of Gaza.

If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign could be a lifeline for us.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who stands with us. And thank you to everyone who has not forgotten the mothers and children of Gaza"
