Hi everyone. I am NaChelle, a second-year student at Alabama A&M University. I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA and take pride in showing up, doing the work, and staying committed to my education. School has always been important to me because I see it as the foundation for the future I am working to build.

Despite my efforts, I am facing a financial setback that has put my education at risk. I have already taken out a loan for this school year, applied for scholarships, and explored all available options, yet I still have an outstanding balance. Because of this, I am unable to register for upcoming classes, which resume January 8th may be forced to postpone my studies.

I come from a six-person household, and three of us are currently in college. While my family supports me in every way they can, financially this balance is more than we can manage right now. Asking for help is not easy, but continuing my education means everything to me.
