The Transatlantic Family Reunification Trip to Ghana – December 2026

During this year’s inaugural Transatlantic Family Reunification Trip to Ghana, West Africa, taking place in the first week of December 2nd - 10th, 2026, the National Ghana Parade Council, Daylight Africa, and the World Conference of Mayors (Gh) are seeking donations—both large and small—to sponsor at least 10 Afro-descendant individuals who have not yet had the opportunity to visit their ancestral homeland.

Returning to Africa is more than travel—it is a meaningful pilgrimage. We believe that every Afro-descendant should have the opportunity to reconnect with their roots and heritage, restoring ties to their original homeland and strengthening cultural identity for future generations.
