Hello, my name is Myshell. I am currently working on my bachelor's degree in Social Work at ASU Online. I am a full-time student, so as a result, I can only work part-time. In order to make ends meet, I had to max out my student loans. It was tight but doable. That is until my car came in need of major repairs for it to remain safe to drive, forcing me to spend my student loan money to pay the repair bill, which is now reaching thousands of dollars.

I have fought through homelessness, mental health, and drug addiction to get to this point in my life, which is why I am going to school for Social Work. I hope to one day be able to help people struggling with the same issues that I dealt with. It is truly difficult to come to you all in this fashion, but my situation has humbled me to the point that I need to ask for help. Anything that you could give to offset the lack of student loan money will ensure that I can make it through this next year of school. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
