Support Myron's Journey at Howard University

Hello, y’all!

My name is Myron Mayne, and I am from Toronto, Canada. I have been accepted into the Bachelor of Arts program in Media, Journalism, and Film with a concentration in Journalism at Howard University, starting this Fall 2024. This is my dream come true, but I need your help to make it a reality.

Last year, I was accepted into Florida Memorial University's Mass Communications - Journalism program and completed my first year on the Dean's List with a GPA of 3.7. Encouraged by my success, I took a leap of faith and applied to Howard University in April.

I received an acceptance letter from Howard University on July 8th, and the Fall 2024 semester starts on August 19th. The university has offered me a yearly scholarship, but I still face a financial gap after exploring Canadian government assistance.

To transfer my visa from Florida Memorial University to Howard University, I must provide proof of funds or a sponsorship totaling $51,000 USD.

I am reaching out in hopes of receiving financial assistance. Your support would enable me to continue my education at Howard University and bring me closer to my aspirations.
