Greetings! I’m Jake, our goal is to help my father with medical bills and other life expenses per usual. His name is Myron and last year (2024) a day before his 59th birthday he was diagnosed with Valley Fever. Which is a fungus infection.

Usually not a big deal but he unfortunately developed it deep in the core of his brain. Very rare chance, about <.001%. It hit him hard. He has lost some memory and most physical functions. Almost stroke like symptoms. Has suffers seizures time to time. At first they thought it was a tumor, fortunately there was a doctor that recognized it before they treated him. Saved his life.

He was the bread winner for my family and main support. This took that from us and took him out completely. My father was hospitalized for around 3-4 months before coming home. Then it grew more shortly after. He was sent back for another month or so. Sadly, since it’s deep in the center of his brain it’s incurable. We can only suppress it from growing with his expensive medicine and frequent hospital visits. He’s currently doing PT to regain all of his functions. He’s slowly been recovering but will not be the same again.

We’ve been unable to receive any support. With him being unable to work and provide, it’s been drowning my mom. Trying her best to work her small job and raise three grandchildren while making sure my father has the care he needs.
