My name is Will and I am raising money for my 76-year-old neighbor and dear friend, Myrna. Myrna has lived in Bushwick for nearly two decades and is a vibrant light in the community, befriending neighbors, hosting cookouts, keeping an eye on the block for everyone, and taking care of those around her.

I have started a new fundraiser to help with the cost of bills for January, February, and March. Please consider donating to this beloved community member during this time of need. Myrna is unable to work, and after the loss of her late wife, she lost her job as a caretaker and the benefits that came with it. She now solely survives on the direct support and mutual aid of her community. At her age, she deserves financial security and peace of mind, but has to rely solely on the community to keep her housed and warm.
