Hello everyone, my name is Myles.

I’m here today because on June 23rd, my entire life changed in an instant.

I was in a serious semi-truck accident in East Texas. My truck went off the road and hit a tree, and I was trapped under the dashboard at the bottom of the truck for three hours before anyone even found me. I laid there in pain, scared, and just hoping somebody would stop.

Eventually someone did, and I waited another 45 minutes for EMTs to arrive. They had to use the Jaws of Life to pull me out.

From there I was rushed through three different hospitals, undergoing multiple surgeries that had to be stopped because I started developing dangerous blood clots. I was then transported to San Antonio, Texas, where doctors were finally able to complete the surgeries to save my life and my leg.

Here’s everything that happened to me in that accident:

• My ankle was completely shattered

• My tibia was shattered

• My femur fractured and had come through my skin

• I had three fractures in my hip

• Four broken ribs

• Two broken hands

• A dislocated shoulder

I now have plates in my ankle, plates in my leg, and a rod from my knee to my hip holding everything together.

I spent five months in a hospital and rehab center in Texas, fighting to recover, learning to move again, and trying to mentally process everything I went through. I am still not 100% — I can barely walk, I am in constant pain, and the trauma from the accident has taken a huge toll on me mentally.

My hospital bills are over $250,000, and I currently cannot work. I still need more rehab and treatment to learn to walk properly again and rebuild my life.

I’m asking for help because I truly have no other options right now.
