Help Me Experience History in France and Italy!

My name is Myles and I’m asking for help to experience history in France and Italy. This spring, I have the amazing chance to visit Europe on this trip that Arcata High has provided for my honors AP Euro class. The trip happens to land on my 17th birthday. There, we will be visiting Paris, the Louvre art center, and then take a trip to Normandy where we will visit the Normandy American Cemetery. Then, we will take a trip to Florence and then to Rome where we will see the Pantheon and the Colosseum.

With the help of my teacher, Ms. Coriell, I’ve spent this year diving into the history, art, and culture that shaped Europe. There is a total of 3 schools attending this trip with only 51 students allowed to go. To get to see it all in person — from the museums and landmarks to the streets where so much of history took place.

I’ve hit my first payment goal of 1000 dollars and now I’m working my way towards raising $650 for the second payment that is due by the end of October. This will help cover the cost of travel and lodging. Any amount, big or small, would mean a lot and help me get a step closer to making this trip happen.
