Mykyta Moris is 27 years old and was wounded on 14 September 2026 while carrying out a combat mission to evacuate the wounded. During that rescue mission, he suffered injuries that led to a double leg amputation. He is currently in the hospital recovering from multiple surgeries, managing severe pain with ongoing medical oversight, receiving specialized post-op nursing care, and starting early bedside rehabilitation to prepare for future prosthetics.

I am raising funds for Mykyta because he is my childhood classmate and close friend from Ukraine. We have stayed close over the years, and I am also very close with his wife, Alina. After the war started, I moved to Europe and later to the United States, while Mykyta stayed in Ukraine to defend our country. Since then, I have stayed in daily contact with both Mykyta and Alina to support them however I can.

Because I am now in the United States, I am managing this fundraiser to gather international support for Mykyta. All funds raised will be transferred directly to his wife, Alina, to help cover his recovery and rehabilitation expenses.
