Support My’Kings cancer Journey.

Hello my name Jennifer watkins and I’m the mother of 5 year old My’King. On may 13th our lives changed over night, and what we thought was the stomach flu turned out to be Stage 3 ependymoma cancer in the form of a tumor that’s had rapidly attached its self to nerves and cells connected to his cerebral cortex. He had fluid buildup on the brain due to blockage from the tumor. So on May 13th he went into surgery to put a tube in through his brain to drain the fluids off before he had major brain surgery on May 17th. After brain surgery My’King lost all his major motor functions. He went from a happy, healthy child who loved basketball and video games to almost a vegetable over night. However he fights more and more every day to be here. Due to these devastating circumstances my finances has changed drastically. I travel 1 hour to the hospital there and back everyday to spend time with My’King, but because I have 3 other children I’m unable to spend the time with him that this situation demands from me. I’m unable to work to help financially at this time and My’King has a very long road to recovery and because of the expenses of traveling, bills, his rehab needs, and us needing to relocate closer to the hospital so he may have the best healthcare I am humbly asking for any help possible please. My’King is my only living son in the past 4 years I Buried my other 2 sons. One past away at birth the other from Pneumonia. I’ve never been the type to publicly ask for anything but after all I’ve been through I have ran out of resources from the very few loved ones I have in my corner at the moment.
