On April 6, our family experienced an unimaginable loss when my brother passed away unexpectedly. He leaves behind his beloved 5-year-old son and his 18-year-old daughter, Mykayla, who was away in Florida pursuing her education at the time of his passing. The shock and heartbreak have been overwhelming for all of us, especially for Mykayla, who now faces the heavy responsibility of handling everything without her father.

Unfortunately, my brother did not have life insurance, and the financial burden of funeral expenses and travel has fallen on Mykayla's young shoulders. The funds raised will help cover the costs of the funeral, Mykayla's travel back and forth from Florida, and provide some support for her little brother as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.

Mykayla is heartbroken and so overwhelmed, but she is determined to honor her father's memory and continue her education—something that made him so proud.
