Hello, my name is Myeisha, and over the last year, I've been fighting one of the toughest battles of my life. In March 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Merkel Cell Carcinoma, a very rare, very aggressive skin cancer. I'm so grateful that I am now in remission. However, just like the fight itself, the recovery process comes with its own challenges and battles.

This journey has taken a toll on me physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially.

Over the past few months specifically, I've endured hospitalizations, surgery, and ongoing treatment. These challenges have made it difficult for me to work, yet life has not paused. As a single mom of two, I still carry the responsibility of providing for my children while also trying to focus on healing.

The reality is that bills don't stop, and medical expenses, household needs, and the rising cost of living have only added to the weight. Despite my strength and determination, I cannot do this alone.
