Support Mychail's Battle Against Colon Cancer
Donation protected
Hi. I'm Keisha, and I am a mother of three. About two months ago, my middle child, Mychail, was admitted to the hospital for stomach pains. During the examination they found a mass in his colon. He was sent home that day and told to see a gastroenterologist soon. A few days later he went back to the emergency room, with stomach pain once again. After another examination, they discovered that the mass had grown. They admitted him into the hospital and performed surgery to remove that part of his colon. After 8 days in the hospital, the pathology report came back and it was determined that he has stage 4 colon cancer. He is now under the care of an oncologist and receives chemo every two weeks. We have tried getting him on medicaid, but he was denied. As you can imagine, the bills are piling up and becoming more than we (his parents) can handle. Bills are coming in daily, from the hospital, the doctor, radiology and so on. Now he has to go out to Emory in Atlanta to see a specialist. Normally we would not ask for help, but this is our child. We are afraid that without any payment, that his treatments will be stopped. So as a mother, I am asking for help with his medical bills. Any little bit will help, and we will be forever grateful for it.
