Our dog, Mya, has been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer, and we're doing everything we can to give her the best chance at a comfortable and full life. We adopted Mya from Northeast Animal Shelter after she had been brought up from a high-kill shelter in Alabama. We have had her since she was 4 weeks old and recently celebrated her 10th birthday. She has given us everything, and now she needs us more than ever.
We're reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters to help raise funds for her chemotherapy treatments. These treatments are essential for her to fight this aggressive disease and continue to bring joy and love into our lives. Every contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference in Mya’s battle. We are deeply grateful for any support you can provide as we work to give her the chance to live a full, healthy life. Thank you for helping us give Mya the fighting chance she deserves. ♥️
Treatment and Costs
Mya is receiving CHOP. CHOP chemotherapy is a multi-drug combination of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone that is the standard treatment for multicentric lymphoma in dogs. This is the best option for her treatment of canine lymphoma, with remission rates of 80–95%.
Mya will receive chemotherapy on a weekly basis for 4 weeks with a 1 week recovery period where she will have additional blood work. This will repeat for 4 cycles over several months.
Each week will vary in cost from $800-$1,200
