I am currently in treatment for drug recovery, and I want to share my journey with you. I recently graduated from Anabranch Recovery in Terre Haute, Indiana, which was a 30-day inpatient program that my insurance covered. Now, I am at another inpatient program called True Healing in Jeffersonville, Indiana, also a 30-day program, and my insurance is still helping with the costs. After this, my goal is to enter a sober living program for a year so I can continue building a strong foundation for my recovery.

The challenge I am facing is that I do not know how much longer my insurance will continue to cover the cost of treatment. Soon, I will be expected to pay for treatment out of pocket, and I have no income or job right now because my recovery coach encourages me to focus on my recovery first. I am following that advice so I can heal fully and rejoin the world as a proud, sober member of society.
