I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

In a matter of seconds, our entire world was shattered by a devastating car accident with a Dump Truck that nearly took my wife’s life. Tragically, her best friend, Tanya Fernandez who was 7 months pregnant did not survive. By the grace of God the baby was saved but The pain of losing Tanya is something our family is struggling to put into words, and while we grieve her heartbreaking loss, we are also fighting every single day for Laura’s life.

Laura is currently in critical condition with numerous broken bones and a severe traumatic brain injury. Doctors have told us that even that she survived this nightmare, her road to recovery will be long, painful, and life-changing.

The woman I love,the person who brought our amazing daughter Jayda Campos into this world laughter, The woman that brought comfort, strength, and love to all of us is now lying in a hospital bed fighting for her future.

Our family is emotionally devastated and completely overwhelmed by the reality of what lies ahead. We are facing enormous medical bills, long-term rehabilitation, and major renovations that will need to be made to our home so she can eventually return safely and have the quality of life she deserves. From wheelchair accessibility to medical equipment and specialized care, everything about our lives is changing overnight.

Right now, I’m asking for help because I cannot do this alone.
