Hello friends & followers, in honor of my 65th birthday on March 16th, I’m seeking a some support to help defray my annual costs of attending an average of two special programs monthly at The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco.
i’ve been a Disney fan most of my life, a student of Disney history, and a former journalist who writes regularly and extensively as cofounder of the Facebook page “It All Started With Walt Disney.”
I’m physically handicapped and collect Social Security disability, but the costs of gas, bridge tolls and everything to get into San Francisco from Vallejo — along with membership tickets to the programs — have gone up along with the basic necessities of life.
Including my annual membership renewal, my WDFMuseum expenditures average about $70 every time I head into the city. Every donation will be spent in pursuit of learning more about Walt Disney’s life and legacy, which I share with others via regular social media posts.
If you’ve learned something or been entertained by my posts, a small donation would be appreciated.
I also know that some people have it far more difficult than I do. But my interest in Disney, sharing what I know while learning more from others – both company veterans and other fans – does bring me joy.
Thank you for any consideration.
