I am passionate about keeping the art of piano playing alive and growing, both in artistic and technical proficiency. The Vigo Piano Competition is an exceptional event that attracts A-caliber musicians from around the world, and I believe it deserves to be supported at the highest level—on par with legendary competitions like Chopin and Van Cliburn.
This year, I have the unique opportunity to attend the Vigo competition in person for the first time, thanks to a very special invitation from my friend Aline Boyd, who is the executive manager of the competition. Her role and invitation are incredibly special to me. Because of her, I may be able to be up close and personal with the performers, judges, and organizers. I’m so excited for this chance, and I’d love to “make a splash” and contribute something meaningful to this amazing competition.
The majority of the funds I raise will be donated directly to the competition, helping to ensure its continued excellence and impact on the world of music. A smaller portion will help cover my travel and attendance expenses. I also plan to document the entire experience—including interviews with competitors and judges—on my podcast, “And If Love Remains,” so others can share in the journey and be inspired by the incredible talent and dedication on display.
