Hi there.
I'll skip the woe-is-me bit and get straight to the issue at hand.
As we all know, teeth have been described as "luxury bones." I am personally in a position of major need with regards to my own dental care because of the huge cost it can incur.
In my 20s, I found out that I had my first cavity and unfortunately, as a result of my financial situation, lack of dental insurance, and general inability to understand the implications of delaying care, I found myself with a huge amount of dental work needing to be done over about a six-year period. Fast forward to the pandemic, and I slowly began having issues with the teeth that had already been treated. Upon visiting several dentists, it came to light that the dentist I had seen for years to treat these teeth had given me poor root canals that had all failed. I had no idea that this was even a thing because I was not informed. I ended up having to have extractions done with the intent of getting implants in the future.
Now, as of December 2024, I am in the process of dealing with multiple more extractions, and the prospect of 5 implants at about $20,000 total. Because of my current financial situation after being unemployed for the majority of the year, as well as the low pay at the job that I ended up taking, it's just not feasible.
I am asking for your help financially to deal with these issues once and for all and get it out of the way as soon as I can. I appreciate anything you can do to help me get through this. I am forever grateful.
