My uncle has been through an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking situation. He was in an unhealthy relationship where, because of his intellectual limitations, he was vulnerable to being manipulated and taken advantage of. He struggles with making decisions independently and understanding situations the way most adults can, which made it difficult for him to recognize when he was being mistreated. Unfortunately, he was overworked and left without proper food and care.

My uncle also has Type 2 diabetes, which made his situation even more serious. Sadly, these circumstances contributed to devastating health complications that ultimately led to him having a below-the-knee amputation. Seeing someone I love go through something so life-changing has been incredibly painful for our family. No one deserves to be put in a situation where their health and well-being are neglected, especially someone who needs extra care, patience, and protection.

I am starting this fundraiser to help my uncle during this difficult chapter of his life. The donations will go toward his hospital bills, rehabilitation, and the care he needs to recover and adjust to life after his amputation. These expenses can be overwhelming, and any financial assistance would help ease some of the burden on our family while allowing us to focus on his recovery and well-being.

My uncle deserves a chance to heal, regain his strength, and live a life where he feels safe, loved, and cared for. We cannot change what happened to him, but with the kindness and generosity of others, we can help give him a better future.
