Support My Third Heart Transplant Recovery

Story

I'm currently back in Cedars-Sinai in Las Angeles. I had a 3rd heart transplant on June 19th. They warn that each transplant is tougher and more dangerous than the previous and this has been no exception. The first few days after a transplant I typically remember, this time I don't remember the first 4 or 5 days after, other than I didn't think I would live. They slowly started removing lines and various connections, enough to get me off the ICU floor. I ended up walking a day before I was moved to the general floor. I was released late Wednesday, but ended up going back and being readmitted Saturday, July 5th. This was mainly due to a new severe pain on the upper right side of my body. With such a new transplant you can't assume anything. I am asking for donations due to these setbacks and to help defray the costs of having friends and/or family that is required to be with me as a caretaker/companion over the next 3 months minimum. Cedars/Sinai also happens to be in one of the most expensive parts of Los Angeles.
