Creating a better Future : Supporting my thesis

Hello, my name is Sattva. I am originally from Venezuela and arrived in Austria in 2018 after being accepted to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, which has been an incredible experience, but not without its challenges. Despite the absence of scholarships or family support, I have successfully completed my degree and I am just a few months away from defending my thesis.

My thesis is an art project centered on the experiences of working-class immigrants in Europe. Based on my own experience, the project consists of a photographic series and an installation, the project aims to raise awareness about the inequalities of our social systems.

I am reaching out to seek your support in covering the expenses associated with my thesis, which have unexpectedly skyrocketed due to inflation and have exceed my financial capacity.

The project is fully developed and in its final phase. However, when I took it to the printer, I realized that I cannot cover the final production costs:

Completing my degree is an important step towards professionalization. Although I possess dedication, skills and talents, being an immigrant without a formal degree has closed many doors for me.
