My health has been declining over the last few years, and recently I received some difficult news. I have fibroids and a dermoid cyst that has grown significantly in the last 7 months. Along with multiple other pelvic issues, I now need exploratory surgery to look for potential endometriosis. Endometriosis is a chronic, often painful disease where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, causing inflammation, scar tissue, and infertility.

This has been a really challenging couple of years, and I never expected to find myself in a position where I needed to ask for help. As many of you know, health care in the US is extremely costly, and the out-of-pocket costs for this type of procedure are difficult to manage alone. Unfortunately, my symptoms have reached a point where I am experiencing daily pain, crushing fatigue, and terrible nausea, making my life quite debilitating.
