Hiii Everyone! :3

I am starting this gofund me to help fund my study abroad costs to Kenya!!! AHHHH! Before I provide you with more information about my trip let me tell you a little about myself. I am a third year student at Buffalo State majoring in art education. I go to school full time and work part time. So unfortunately I can't fund the whole trip myself. I want to reach out to my community to ask if they coud help defray the costs of this trip. While on on my study abroad I will be immersing myself in Kenyan culture and working with an all girls school right outside of Nairobi. My peers and I have chosen specific topics to work on while we are there. My partner and I chose the topic of mental health. We will be researching kenyan attitudes towards this topic as well as providing our own background knowledge to help with mental health problems and providing tools to deal with these challenges. I will serve as a mentor for these girls. I am looking foward to discovering their ways of dealing with mental health challeneges that could maybe help me and my community. Interacting with these students will give me insights that I could use in my own life and bring back to the US. All of the money donated will go towards my plane ticket and living costs.
