Support my study abroad education in Kenya

Hello! My name is Sophia Morales. I'm fundraising money for a very exciting study abroad trip this summer in Samburu, Kenya. I am currently studying Human Dimensions of Natural Resources at Colorado State University. The HDNR department focuses on the social science study of natural resource issues and takes into account an issue’s political, social, economic and ecological dimensions to make informed decisions. The focus of the study abroad program is to learn from the local pastoral community in Kenya through interview and hands-on studies to better inform conservation issues in both the ecological and social dimensions on various national reserves. This experience is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to not only advance my education in the field of natural resources, but also have an incredible experience in Kenya where I will learn about different cultures and places, and gain perspectives on the type of work I may want to do in the future with local communities. These funds will be used to help pay for the flight costs, program charge costs, I would greatly appreciate any amount of donation to help me pay for the cost of attending this trip! It would mean so much to my family and I to receive your support in furthering my education and career goals.
