My stepdad is an inspiring writer, pastor, and survivor who has always given so much to others. He is selfless and caring, always putting others before himself and sharing his faith with everyone he meets. His greatest hope is for everyone to know Jesus, and he has touched countless lives through his words and his compassion.

He is the author of the book 'Leakage' and two other works, with another book currently being written. His writing has inspired many, and he continues to share his story and faith even in the face of adversity.

Now, he is facing one of his toughest challenges yet: a diagnosis of skin cancer. With surgery scheduled for the 15th and reconstructive surgery the following day, our family is doing everything we can to support him through this difficult journey. He has never asked for help before, but the financial burden is overwhelming. He is on social security, which makes covering the costs of medical bills, recovery, and all the extra expenses that come with treatment especially hard.
