My son is a bright, active seventh grader who loves tennis and dreams of just being a normal kid. Lately, though, he’s been facing a lot of health challenges that have made life much harder for him. He’s been diagnosed with bronchitis, and on top of that, he has a split disc in his back that will require surgery soon. He also has shoulder problems, with one arm longer than the other, which makes everyday activities and his favorite sport even more difficult.

As his parent, it’s heartbreaking to see him go through so much at such a young age. We’re doing everything we can, but the medical bills are adding up quickly. We’re not sure if insurance will cover most of the costs, and from what we’re hearing, it may not. Despite all of this, my son remains a good, well-rounded kid who just wants to keep playing tennis and enjoying life like any other seventh grader.
