On March 26th, my son Tye was seriously injured in a chemical fire. Since then, he’s been recovering from severe burns, and his journey has been challenging—but we’re staying focused on healing and progress every day.

Tye has been receiving ongoing treatment, including wound care and physical therapy. Right now, it’s still difficult to stand for long periods of time, but with each passing week, we’re seeing small signs of improvement. His strength and determination are what keep us all going.

At just 19, this is not the path Tye—or any of us—expected, but we’re hopeful. He’s working hard, and we believe he will get through this and regain his independence in time. We’re doing as much as we can to get him back to where he was before the accident.

I’ve stepped away from work to be by his side full-time. The financial strain of hospital bills, medical supplies, and everyday needs has been heavy, but we’re taking things one step at a time.
