My 13-year-old son has been given the incredible opportunity to travel to New York City and Washington, D.C. through school — a trip filled with history, education, and experiences he will remember for the rest of his life.

As a mom, I want so badly to give him opportunities to see more of the world, dream bigger, and experience things beyond what we can provide day to day. He is a kind, hardworking kid with a huge heart, and this trip would mean everything to him.
