Support My Son's Best Friend, Squeaks the Cat

Most of us have had a pet who felt more like a member of the family. My son's cat, Squeaks, is his best friend. She's been his best friend since the moment he saw her at the shelter almost 9 years ago. When we went to adopt a cat, we thought we'd get a kitten, but this was the sweetest, most cuddly adult cat you've ever met. She stole our hearts.

Last night we had to take her to the emergency vet due to her not eating or drinking and becoming very lethargic. Thank goodness for Dr Edwards because I believe he saved her life. She's coming home today after IV antibiotics, and her prognosis is good.

I'm asking for help to pay the vet bill. Her life, and my son's heart, were worth every penny. However it was a pretty penny. If anyone finds it in their heart to help, I deeply appreciate it.
