Dear friends and family,
Hi, I’m Brooklynn Graul, a 19-year-old Biology student at Wilfrid Laurier University with plans to pursue a career in medicine. I’m from Walkerton, Ontario, and I’ve been playing softball for over a decade. I currently play for Wilfrid Laurier University, where I’ve been part of the team for two seasons. Softball has taught me valuable lessons in teamwork and discipline, and I’m excited to take that experience to the international stage.
This summer, I have the incredible opportunity to combine my passion for softball with my love of travel on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Italy and Central Europe! From June 14th to 24th, 2025, I’ll be part of a competitive softball team traveling across Italy, Austria, and Hungary, competing in international tournaments while exploring some of Europe’s most beautiful and historically rich cities.
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in making this incredible trip a reality. While I’m covering a significant portion of the expenses, I’m turning to my network of friends, family, and softball supporters to help me raise the remaining funds. Your generosity will help make this unforgettable experience possible!
This trip is a unique chance to grow as a player, compete internationally, and connect with athletes from around the world. Playing in a 4-team tournament in Vienna will push me outside my comfort zone and help me develop my skills. I’ll also immerse myself in new cultures, exploring iconic cities like Venice, Trieste, Vienna, and Budapest, and building lifelong friendships with teammates and opponents.
I’ve set up a GoFundMe page to raise the necessary funds: “Support My Softball Adventure in Europe!”. You can make a big impact by supporting or sharing my page with your friends and family. Every bit of support counts, and I’ll keep you updated throughout the trip so you can follow along with my journey!
Thank you for being part of this journey.
With gratitude,
Brooklynn Graul
