Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Souls,
Sometimes life can deal blows so heavy that it feels impossible to move forward. Right now, my sister is facing one of those moments. Having recently experienced the unimaginable pain of losing her son, she is in deep grief—a pain that no parent should have to endure. This loss has left her unable to work as she processes her emotions and tries to heal.
To make matters worse, her car—her lifeline to the outside world—has broken down and the repair shop said it is at the end of its life and not worth fixing. For anyone, a car is a necessity; for her, it’s crucial. It means doctor’s appointments, grocery runs, and the ability to stay connected to her friends and support system. Right now, the burden of replacing her vehicle is something she cannot carry on her own.
I’m reaching out to ask for help. Cars are undeniably expensive, and I want to ensure that she has something dependable, a vehicle that won’t break down or add more stress to an already overwhelming time. My goal is to raise enough to get her a reliable car so that she can focus on healing and not on whether she has a way to get where she needs to go.
If you know my sister, you know she has a strong and proud spirit. She would never ask for help herself, but I know she would be eternally grateful for the kindness of those who care about her. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us closer to giving her the stability and peace of mind she deserves during this incredibly tough chapter.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for your generosity. Your support means more than words can express—not just to my sister, but to all of us who love her dearly.
With gratitude, Mary
