Hello Friends, my sister is sick with breast cancer and this is her story:
“My name is Gayane Tashchyan. I was born in 1981 in Armenia into a big family. Our house consisted of 10 children and 2 loving and caring parents, father, Grigor Tashchyan and mother, Lusine Tashchyan.
Unfortunately, when I was 7 years old, in 1988, my mother got sick with cancer and died few months later. It was a very difficult time for the whole family. We, her children, had difficulties without the motherly love and care that was missing due to her absence.
After many years, I got married and now have 2 children of my own. I have a daughter, Lusine, who is 12 years old, and a son, Hovsep, who is 8 years old. Right now, I’m 39 years old. My mother died from cancer when she was 39 years old. Now, I am in the same situation. I have breast cancer. Now, my children are looking at me with teary eyes, hoping that mom will never leave them. My husband, Harut Azolyan, who is distressed right now, cannot imagine spending the rest of his life without me.
I have consulted with the doctor and was told that I need to undergo chemotherapy, which costs a lot of money. My husband lost his job due to COVID-19 pandemic. We do not have the finances to fully support such treatment, and all the expenses associated with it, without the much needed help from you. I am going to begin my treatment on August 11th, 2020 and I hope to have enough financial support to complete the treatment.
