Support My Sister's Family After Home Crash
Donation protected
Yesterday, April 22nd, a vehicle crashed into the side of my sister's family home. They had just moved in a week or so prior. The vehicle caused enough damage that they had to exit the home on a ladder, and a makeshift support beam had to be put in place to prevent it from collapsing. All they could retrieve from the home were some emergency clothing; all furniture, beds, and all of the kids' belongings, etc., had to be left behind. They have several children living in the home, ages ranging from 2-18. The house is deemed unsafe to enter, so there is no telling when and if they can go back in and see what’s salvageable.
It's hard to put a monetary value on all the everyday items that are now non-retrievable, lost, or damaged. I can't imagine what I would do if that happened in my own home and I now had to find beds for all of my children again. Literally anything will help just to get them the basic necessities they need to live everyday life like cups, bowls, plates, beds, pillows, etc.
