Support my sister and I as we care for our Dad

Our father experienced a cardiac arrest late Wednesday night on 8/2/23 which caused him to crash his car. He was without oxygen for 6-8 minutes, and thankfully the EMS were able to revive him. At the hospital his condition was stabilized, and he’s proving to be so strong!

He’s still in the SICU, where tests are being done to determine his health condition and treatment going forward. It’s unknown how long he’ll be there at this time, but his recovery will take some time. And the extent of any brain damage is still unknown. My sister, Carrie and I have been with him every day, and taking care of any external things with the hospital, his work and any bills. Because of this we are unable to work, and while our partners and siblings are supporting us as best they can, we would appreciate any help in alleviating financial pressures.

Our dad likely will not be able to return to work anytime soon, and as we figure out next steps we want to make sure he is focused on healing rather than stressed about bills as well. We all know how much of a workaholic he is! But he deserves peace of mind as we figure out how to get him on disability.
