This spring break, I’ve decided to take the opportunity to return to Bangladesh to serve again at an orphanage called Banglahope. This is not a school-sponsored or funded trip but something I’ve chosen to do on my own time because of the impact Banglahope has had on my life. For context, from 2023-2024, I spent six months there as a missionary, serving as a teacher, tutor, and helping care for over 150 children. These kids are aged anywhere from newborns to young adults, with many coming from deeply difficult backgrounds.
Going back is something I’ve felt strongly called to do. I won't forget how impactful that time was, not just for the kids, but for me. It’s a reminder of why I chose this path in the first place: to serve, to care, and to show up where there is need.
As a medical student, I'm not able to work, so I’m reaching out for any support to help cover travel expenses and to bring supplies, gifts, and essentials for the kids. Truly, anything helps…whether it’s financial support, prayers, or simply sharing this.
I’m so grateful for anyone who takes the time to read this and support in any way. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
Thank you, and God bless!
