Support My Dearest Family After Hurricane Helene

Hi, my name is Sandy. I honestly don't know where to start. I live in Asheville, NC, and we were recently hit very hard by Hurricane Helene. On Sept 27th, after 2 days of rain, the flooding we have here has almost stopped us in time. No electricity, no water, no internet, or spotty at best. It's going to be approximately 1 month to restore Asheville's water system. Anyway, my reason for this GoFundMe is for my granddaughters.

They have no home at this point or a car. All damaged or totally lost! Everything they know as 9 and 13-year-olds is gone. No food, no gas in the area to get food. This is a desperate measure for help. I've lived here all my life except for 9 years, and nothing can compare to this devastation I've seen since Friday.

My hopes are that anyone who sees this may feel comfortable in helping my family (grandchildren especially) out in this situation. I'm on disability and have no means of offering anything but a home without electricity, food, water, or transportation. This family really needs a break. Two deaths in about a year's time, and now they've lost everything they own.
